Sometimes motorbike suspension manufacturers hide internals behind unique caps that can't be removed using your normal tool kit. They want you to buy one of their official factory specific adaptors - just for that one job - don't you hate that? One of the regular offenders we see are screw-off covers with holes drilled in them. If you don't have the right diameter pins plus the right spacing between them, you end up with a hammer & pin punch (or even worse a screwdriver), ripping up the alloy with each hit. It's not a proud moment, it's messy, but we've desperately done it when poor or pushed for time.

Then you find a Japanese master tool maker who's made a durable, completely adjustable forged pin spanner which can give plenty of torque without leaving ugly scrapes & marks. The rest of their tools look good for many other non-motorcycle tasks too, but that skeleton key for oddball forks is something we love, so are happy to import for you.
