Shock Cylinder Stop End Caps

At the base of your motorbike damper body is a hard metal end cap around the main shock shaft. This lower cover seals the area out to the cylinder bore of the shock body, protecting the oil seal head assembly and delicate seal case from rock strikes, corrosive mud build up and transferring bottoming forces on hard landings.

Protects seals, bump stops and shock bodies

• Bump stop striker plate
• Shields the oil seal head assembly and seal case from debris and corrosion
• Transfers bottoming force from the bump stop to the shock body
• Check regularly for cracks or deformation, especially when racing offroad or using shock lowering spacers
• Reinforces shock bodies to allow thinner casting walls and improved heat transfer for more consistent damping
