An internal damping cartridge cylinder sits in the middle of the outer case tubes inside most oil filled motorbike front forks. The suspension fluid can either be shared with the rest of the fork leg, or can be separately sealed - read more in our Closed vs Open Chamber Forks technical article.
These naked cartridge inserts are made from anodized aluminium alloy pipe. Additional rebuild parts like the seal case heads top & bottom, with the rubber rod seals inside them, plus the fork spring collars & parts on the outside, are sold separately - or you can buy a complete OEM cartridge assembly.
But if factory isn't good enough, you can mod your bike with our performance billet coil spring perches or go all the way with a set of DIY drop in adjustable fork cartridges for the racing edge.
