Older bikes had chrome steel pipe clamped in the triple trees, sliding inside the aluminium outer case at the bottom, with its cast in axle clamps. This is a "Conventional" front fork and is still used on many retro cruisers, while most road or offroad sport bikes now use the successor "Up-Side Down" forks with larger alloy uppers and chromed inner tubes. These OEM fork outer guide cylinders are sold individually and come empty inside & out, without spacer washers, retaining clips or boots - all sold separately in our Outer Tube Parts.
