Motorcycle Shock Sealing Rubber O-Rings

Shock O-Rings

All rebuildable motorbike front forks & rear shock absorbers need basic shared parts – fasteners like locknuts to hold damping pistons to base towers, teflon lined shaft collars or acetal rod bushes to keep sliding tubes concentric without friction, mid-speed valve (or refill / non-return) springs to help tune your shim stack, and rubber o-rings to keep oil & gas pressure sealed. These suspension components can be used on either end of the bike when you are servicing or tuning. Common types include Lower Seal Case O-Rings and Damping Piston O-Rings, plus small seals in Shock Shafts and Top Mounting Bearings.

Seals for reliable rebuilds and service

  • Prevent oil and gas leaks to maintain damping performance
  • Used in comp and reb clicker assemblies and small adjuster ports
  • Essential in service ports and bladder/air caps to retain pressure
  • Replace with every rebuild to avoid premature wear

Recommended Pairings

Consider matching o-rings with Suspension Tools for accurate servicing.
