Motorcycle Shock Suspension Springs
Shock Springs
Older motorbikes use a pair of coilovers, one on each side of the rear swingarm, while most modern bikes use a monoshock with the single main coil spring wrapped around the damper. We stock multiple brands of shock springs in a wide range of sizes and spring rates, including linear (straight) and progressive rates. Springs are specified by inner diameter (millimetres) and free height (millimetres); fitment often needs a seating ring or washer and careful preload. Read our FAQ, the springs & preload guide, the how-to on replace your shock spring, and the Teknik Motorcycle Shock Spring install sheet. Use a Shock Spring Compressor Tool and our Shock Spring Search to find the correct size.
