WP 48 Chrome Fork Tube | Teknik Fork Inner Tube Bare | Teknik Motorsport

The Teknik WP 48 Chrome Fork Tube is a replacement inner tube for WP 48 mm fork systems. It is intended for fork servicing and rebuild work where the original tube is damaged or worn. Replacing the tube can help restore correct fork movement and protect new seals from premature wear.

Inside the System

The inner tube is the hard-chromed sliding surface that runs through the fork bushings and seals. Its surface condition directly affects friction, seal life and oil control. Any damage to the chrome or base material can compromise fork function even if other parts are new.

When to Replace

Replace if the chrome surface is scored, pitted, flaking or rusted in the seal travel area.
Replace if there are impact marks or bends that affect straightness and bushing alignment.
Replace if repeated seal leaks persist after correct seal and bushing replacement and proper assembly checks.
Do not replace solely due to cosmetic marks outside the seal travel area, or if the tube surface is clean and straight and leaks are traced to seals, bushings or assembly issues.
