The TracTive X-TREME fork cartridge kit for BMW R nineT replaces the standard fork internals with a sealed, closed and pressurised cartridge design to deliver consistent damping and clear front-end feedback. This architecture helps maintain control as conditions change through a ride. Adjustment is provided to let you tune the fork response to your preferences and load.

Design & features

This kit is built around closed-cartridge, pressurised internals that manage oil flow through dedicated piston and shim-stack valving. By keeping the damping circuit sealed and pressurised, the fork’s behaviour stays more consistent over time and during longer rides.

Tuning Controls

This cartridge kit provides dual adjustability, allowing independent tuning of rebound and compression damping. These controls let you balance comfort, stability and support to suit road surface, tyre choice and riding style.

Base Setup (factory preset)

The kit is supplied with a baseline configuration intended to be a sensible starting point. From there, make small, measured changes to rebound and compression one at a time so you can clearly assess their effect.

Before You Install

  • Confirm the kit matches your exact BMW R nineT application before fitting.
  • Installation involves opening the fork and replacing internal components; professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with fork work.
  • After installation, verify front-end balance with your rear suspension and typical riding load.

Serviceability/Lifecycle

This TracTive product has been assembled with the utmost care and tested according to ISO9001:2015 Quality system. In the unlikely event that the product does not fulfill your expectations because of faulty materials or manufacturing errors, please contact us through your dealer.

Teknik Motorsport Pty Ltd warrants that if, within 24 months of the date of sale the product is found to be defective as a result of manufacturing errors or faulty components, the product will be repaired free of charge by us, or by a TracTive approved repairer at our discretion.

Warranty covers the direct service material cost, service labour cost ($80/hr AUD) and shipping costs of the service partner. Other costs will be regarded on a case by case basis by Teknik Motorsport and TracTive.

 When a claim is made under the warranty, the following conditions have to be met:

  • You must have read the instructions carefully before mounting the product in the vehicle or adjusting the product.
  • The product has to be installed and adjusted as described in the instructions
  • The product must have been maintained and serviced in accordance with the recommendations in the manual. If not described in the manual, the recommended service intervals for regular street use: every 30.000 km or max 2 years, whichever is earlier.
  • Warranty shall apply only when TracTive original parts, procedures and tools have been used to service and/or repair, and if service and repair is performed by designated TracTive partners.
  • The product may not have been neglected, improperly used, altered or subjected to excessive loads. Excluded from warranty are normal wear, damage and rust.
  • A sales receipt or other proof of purchase originally eminating from Teknik Motorsport Pty Ltd. No warranty will be given on TracTive or Touratech products not purchased from or through Teknik Motorsport pty ltd.
  • Excluded from warranty are in particular products which are used in vehicles that are intended or suitable for taking part in sporting events, or have actually been used this way.
  • Recommended service interval for Motorsport applications: every season, or every 50 hours, every 10.000km or after any perceived loss in performance.
