The Spring Conversion Kit is a complete replacement cartridge assembly for your current WP AER48 Air Fork setup. It is designed to completely remove all the pneumatic system from your current WP Forks and replace it with a traditional preload adjustable coil spring and cartridge setup - compression damping in one leg and rebound damping in the other.

  • Super easy install - undo top cap then drain oil completely and remove base bolt. The kit slides in as a complete replacement supplied with spring installed all ready to go!

  • Spring pre-load adjustable - minimal tools are required for fitment. If you have the fork cap and basic tools to remove the standard OEM air cartridge you will have the ability to fit up our kit

Spring Rate Recommendation

This kit uses a 44 x 660mm long spring. Any of the following are applicable;

Teknik 43.5x660 , Eibach 964 , HiCalibre 19-173 , Eibach 928

General Riding & Motocross Applications

These recommendations are a guide only as fork Springs are weight and speed dependent. For example a 72 kg Pro rider falls into the 0.92kg/mm category but may well be better suited to a 0.96kg spring due to the much higher corner entry speed and the ability to hit large bumps at high speeds. Please note this guide is for rider weight without gear.

Also note we have had great results using one spring down for Veteran / C level riders on 450cc machines. E.g. - 90kg rider running a 0.96kg/mm spring for a plusher ride.
