Information

This Lainer Suspension shock spacer is designed for WP KTM 85 and Husqvarna 85 models up to 2017, used to alter the rear ride position by limiting shock stroke. It is an internal spacer made in PR80 steel and manufactured in Italy. Use this type of part when you are intentionally changing shock travel for setup reasons, or when replacing a worn or damaged internal spacer during a rebuild.

Inside the System

An internal shock spacer is fitted within the shock assembly to mechanically limit available stroke. This changes how far the shock can move through its travel, which can be used to influence rear ride height and overall chassis balance when set up correctly.

Setup Considerations

Change this spacer when you need the stated 1 mm reduction in stroke, or when the existing spacer shows damage, deformation, or abnormal wear found during servicing. Do not replace or modify internal spacers as a routine service item if the current part is in good condition and the shock travel and ride position are already correct for your application.

Setup & Workshop Notes
