If your motorbike has modern "Separate Function Forks" you will often find a comp adjustment clicker on one top cap and rebound on the other, but many adjustable designs fit compression damping adjusters to both caps. Adjuster assemblies are compact but complex, with a top cap sealed against the fork tube with an o-ring, a clicker assembly and bleed screw inside, and a threaded hollow centre rod. At the bottom, comp valving parts are locked onto base valve posts with a locknut; connecting push rods, free pistons and the Inner Chamber Spring control initial plushness. • Secure shim stacks and washers to the damping piston on the base valve post
• Allow compression clicker adjustments to alter oil flow via the push rod
• Replace worn or damaged posts to restore factory damping geometry
• Provide a mounting point for revalving and performance upgrades
