If your motorbike has modern "Separate Function Forks" you will often find a compression adjustment clicker on one top cap (and rebound on the other); some adjustable designs use compression damping adjusters on both caps. Adjuster assemblies include a top cap with o-ring, clicker assembly and bleed screw, a threaded hollow centre rod and at the bottom a machined damping piston sealed with an o-ring or soft band, organised with shims & valving washers and locked with a locknut.
