Inner (Slide) Bushes

Split metal ring bushing sets keep fork casing tubes concentric on Up-Side Down forks. The inner (slide or piston) bush has a dark teflon coating on the outside to slide over the hard-chromed inner tube, while the outer (guide) bush has teflon lining to locate in the larger alloy outer tube.

Function and fit of piston (slide) bushes

  • Maintain concentric fork tubes and reduce stiction with a teflon sliding surface
  • Replace as part of regular fork servicing to prevent wear on chrome and seals
  • Available as Teknik sets, genuine OEM from KYB & Showa suspension or performance Innteck options: Innteck
  • Use with full rebuild kits and correct seals to extend service life
