Shock Mounting Bearings

Shock mounting bearings connect the coilover top to the frame and allow smooth, friction-free damping response through the bottom linkage. Available as teflon ring bushes, sealed bearings, open needles in an outer race on an inner collar, or spherical bearings, these mounts are protected by rubber o-rings, machined end caps or square lipped seals and retained with circlips or wire snap rings. Spacers and roller races channel travel forces to the damper and collars and seals on needle swingarm bearings control wheel movement.
