Motorcycle Shock Gas Bladder Parts

Motorbikes with piggyback-style shock absorbers sometimes have a floating piston that separates the oil and nitrogen - but much more commonly - a rubber bladder reservoir that holds the gas separately. This super heavy duty little balloon is less prone to leaking than the seals of a separating piston, so most OEM rear dampers use them in their separate chamber.

Bladders have end caps in a massive variety of shapes and sizes that all feature air ports so you can regas the shock after a suspension rebuild too - some models feature a rubber bung that gets pierced by a regassing needle - while others have easy to refill schrader (tyre) valves.

We have all the components needed to service your piggy back shocks including the smaller seals, o-rings and retaining c-clips to hold the bladder inside the body.
