Shock Shaft Parts

Right in the centre of your motorbike's coilover is the main damping shaft. At the top end it holds the piston inside the shock absorber body while at the bottom end it screws onto the Clevis or Yoke. A clevis has a split fork of two tabs with a gap between them, while a yoke has just one wide ring sticking down. If your damper has rebound adjustment you will usually find it inside this end eye assembly which then bolts to the rear swingarm or suspension link via bearings and grease seals to keep the whole suspension moving smoothly. Servicing and rebuilding the damping shaft

Houses rebound adjuster internals and the pushrod that transmits clicks to the damping valving
Available as bare chromed tubes, assembled damping shaft with internals, or full assembly with clevis or yoke
Replace small guides, bushes, o-rings, angled end needle, locknuts, rubber seals and collars for reliable damping
Use with shock mounting & chassis bearings or shock lowering washers during rebuilds
