The Lainer Suspension EPICA cartridge SCH kit is a fork cartridge upgrade for the Beta RR X-Pro (2025–2026). It’s designed to increase tunability and refine damping behaviour through changes to oil flow control and internal valving. Springs are excluded.

Built For Real-World Suspension

A cartridge kit is typically fitted when you’re chasing broader adjustment range, improved consistency, or a more controlled feel through changing conditions. It’s not a substitute for basic service work—if your forks have leaking seals, contaminated oil, or worn bushes, those issues should be addressed as part of the install rather than masked by an upgrade.

Inside the System

• Bladder system with internal oil compensation and increased volume.
• Progressive Damping System (PDS) for increased hydraulic damping at end stroke, with up to 12 adjustments for end-stroke stiffness.
• Reversible high-speed compression piston (Side A flat valve surface for motocross/enduro; Side B convex valve surface for supercross).
• Option to configure Low Speed Valve (LSV) on compression base valve.

Adjustment & Setup

• Compression damping: 60 clicks (adjustment at top of cartridge).
• Rebound damping: 50 clicks (located at fork bottom).
• External spring preload adjustment: 0 to 15 mm (adjusted with a 16 mm socket at the fork bottom).

Compatibility

• Bike fitment: Beta RR X-Pro (2025–2026).
• Springs: excluded (43.8-470 size noted).

Setup & Workshop Notes

• To mount the cartridge, it’s necessary to shorten 5 mm from the OEM shaft on the bushing side.
• Change fork oil and inspect wear items during installation; replace seals/bushes if worn or leaking rather than reusing compromised components.
