AJP PR7 650 Motorcycle Suspension

An oddball from Portugal that tries to civilize a rally raid race bike. Aussies riders often deal with enduro conditions, so it's a perfect match right?

The AJP PR7 is a rally-raid style adventure bike, light & agile, so its the single lightweight adventure bike a lot of riders said they wanted but what did we think of it and the suspension?

AJP PR7 Forks

The Sachs ZX Fork is an open chamber 48mm USD, Its a good basis for an adventure bike. The red outer legs have the same issue we see with a lot of the red Sachs, the anodising wears prematurely. This can be resolved with Kashima coating. The springs are readilty available and the fork setting is suitable for adventure riding.

AJP PR7 Shock

The Sachs ZF shock is a similar unit to what we see in Beta's and other offroad bikes using Sachs ZF. Its a higher end unit in terms of adjustability to many adventure bikes. The setting is OK. You may want to increase the spring rate if you carry gear or are over 80kg.
