Spring Perch Parts

An internal damping cartridge cylinder sits in the middle of the outer case tubes inside most oil filled motorbike front forks. The suspension fluid can either be shared with the rest of the fork leg, or can be separately sealed - read more in our Closed vs Open Chamber Forks technical article. Slid over the outside of the cartridge inserts are conical spring seat assemblies that locate the top of the fork coil springs and transfer suspension loads between upper and lower fork tubes. We stock individual servicing parts such as preload spacer washers & rings, spring seat collars, guide bushings & wire retaining clips and performance billet spring perch pairs.
