Rear coilovers mount to the motorbike at two points - the bottom bolts to the suspension link (for a monoshock) or the swingarm (for twin shock bikes) - on top the shock body yoke attaches to the chassis. These bushes & bearings keep the travel action smooth but need regular cleaning & maintenance.

Upper shock mount purpose and components

• Provide a low-friction pivot at the upper eye between the shock body yoke and chassis
• Available as simple metal sleeve bushings or complex assemblies with inner bush, outer collars and rubber o-rings
• Servicing items include needle bearing cage, spherical bearing, dust & grease seals, retaining c-clips and outer sleeve
• Complete kits and individual fasteners (bolt & nut) simplify rebuilds and ensure correct alignment
