Motorbike shocks use a damping shaft that slides inside the main shock absorber body. To keep oil and nitrogen pressure inside that casing there is a lower seal head assembly between the two. Rear dampers include an oil seal, an external dust wiper, a rod bushing, a rubber O-ring and a rebound top-out bumper (rubber ring or small steel coil spring) to prevent piston and case damage. We sell complete assembled replacement seal cases for most suspensions, plus bare heads, washers & individual components so you can tune and service your coilover.
