Some basic factory coilovers are not designed to be rebuilt - see our FAQ on shock rebuilding for more info - but when most shock absorber components are worn out, you can rebuild them yourself with our range of spare parts. We are authorised distributors for KYB & Showa Suspension and stock genuine servicing parts like springs, gas bladders, seal heads, bumpers, piston bands & rubber o-rings. Teknik Motorsports can provide workshop manuals, special tools, single parts & full assemblies. Maintenance is easy with our complete DIY consumables packs, and we also stock parts from WP, Ohlins, Sachs, Marzocchi, Paioli and Soqi. Don't forget to regas your shock after fixing it — see our regassing tools or book into our suspension workshop. Damage or oil leaks need attention; a simple oil change won't help if internals are worn. If damping feels stiff or crunchy, try servicing your linkage bearings.
