The Teknik Tools WP Trax Shock Spanner is a purpose-built tool for adjusting rear shock preload on WP Trax shocks with a 46mm square preload adjuster. Using the correct spanner helps achieve controlled engagement on the adjuster and supports accurate setup work. It is suited to workshop servicing and trackside adjustments where repeatable preload changes are required.

Built For Real-World Suspension

Preload changes are commonly made during sag setup, chassis balance checks, or when rider/load conditions change. A dedicated spanner is used to reduce the risk of slipping or marking the preload collar compared with improvised tools.

Inside the System

This tool is designed to engage a 46mm square-profile preload adjuster found on WP Trax rear shocks. Positive engagement on the square collar assists with making adjustments without rounding the adjuster.

Key Features

  • Designed to suit WP Trax rear shocks
  • 46mm square profile engagement
  • Helps reduce the risk of damage to the preload adjuster during adjustment
  • Suitable for workshop servicing and trackside setup

Compatibility

  • Application: WP Trax rear shock
  • Adjuster interface: 46mm square preload adjuster

Setup & Workshop Notes

Use this spanner when you need to change rear shock preload for setup work. It does not replace service parts and is not required if no preload adjustment is being made. If the adjuster is damaged or difficult to turn, inspect the shock and adjuster components before applying additional force.
