The Lainer Suspension Rebound Stopper is designed for KTM EXC models with WP PDS rear shock systems from 2017–2023. It is an elastomer insert intended to control the final stage of shock extension. By progressively engaging at the end of the stroke, it helps reduce harsh top-out behaviour and impact stress on associated components.

Built For Real-World Suspension

Rebound stoppers are used to manage extension behaviour when the shock returns quickly, such as in rough terrain, hard braking zones, or steep descents. This component is intended to calm the rear end by limiting the last part of the rebound stroke in a controlled way, without requiring internal shock modifications.

Inside the System

This product is an elastomer insert designed to fit into the linkage shock bolt on the bike’s frame. Its role is to engage during the final portion of shock extension, helping to reduce kickback and improve rear-end stability and traction.

Setup Considerations

  • Change this part when servicing or rebuilding the rear suspension, or if the rebound stopper is worn or damaged and harsh top-out or increased kickback is present.
  • It is not a tuning substitute for shock adjustment; if rebound behaviour issues are caused by incorrect damping setup or other worn components, address those items as well.

Compatibility

  • KTM EXC models 2017–2023
  • KTM EXC-F models 2017–2023
  • KTM EXC Six Days 2017–2023
  • KTM XC-W TPI 2017–2023
  • Intended for WP PDS shock systems
