The Lainer Suspension high and low speed compression adjuster kit is built to add independent compression control to compatible WP shock applications across selected KTM, Husqvarna and GAS GAS models. It’s intended for riders and workshops chasing clearer separation between chassis control (low-speed) and impact response (high-speed). This kit is typically installed during suspension servicing or when existing adjusters are damaged, worn, or offer insufficient tuning range.

Inside the System

Compression adjustment influences how the shock resists being driven into its stroke. Low-speed compression tuning targets chassis movements such as braking, acceleration and cornering load transfer, while high-speed compression relates more to sharp, fast impacts. A high/low adjuster kit provides separate tuning inputs so changes can be made more deliberately without over-correcting other behaviours.

Adjustment & Setup

  • High-speed compression: adjustment via the high-speed circuit.
  • Low-speed compression: adjustment via the low-speed circuit.

Adjustment should be approached methodically: change one circuit at a time, document baseline settings, and re-test on the same section of track or trail. If the existing shock is not in good mechanical condition (oil condition, gas pressure, seals), service work should be completed before evaluating adjuster changes.

Setup & Workshop Notes

This is a workshop-style component and is best installed by a suspension technician during a shock service. Replace/upgrade the adjuster when the original unit is damaged, seized, inconsistent, or when you need separate high/low compression control for more structured tuning. It should not be used to mask underlying issues such as worn bushings, leaking seals, contaminated oil, or incorrect spring rate.
