The Ohlins HD146 is a rear STX 36 twin shock set built for Harley-Davidson Sportster XL models where ride control and damping consistency matter. It uses a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated design to help maintain stable damping during sustained use. The result is a more controlled rear end under braking, acceleration and mid-corner load changes.

Shock design & features

This is a twin shock rear arrangement from the Ohlins STX 36 family. The damper is gas-pressurised with oil/gas separation to reduce fade and help keep damping consistent. Internal valving is intended to improve traction and chassis calmness as conditions change.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound and compression damping, allowing you to tune how the rear settles after bumps and how it resists movement under load. This makes it easier to tailor feel for different roads, tyres and riding pace.
