The TracTive X-TREME fork cartridge kit for the BMW F 900 GS Adventure replaces the fork internals with a closed, pressurised cartridge system for consistent damping and control. This kit is configured to reduce ride height, supporting a more accessible stance while maintaining predictable front-end feel. The sealed cartridge architecture helps manage oil aeration under sustained use for more stable performance.
Who is this for?
Suited to riders using the F 900 GS Adventure for touring, commuting and mixed-surface riding who want a more confidence-inspiring ride height and a controlled, planted front end. It’s also a practical choice if you regularly ride with varying loads and want a suspension system that can be tuned to suit.
Design & features
This kit is built around TracTive’s closed, pressurised cartridge design. A sealed cartridge isolates and controls the damping circuit, which helps deliver a more consistent feel over changing conditions and longer rides. The lowered configuration is intended to improve accessibility at stops and when manoeuvring at low speed.
Tuning Controls
This cartridge kit includes external damping adjusters for both compression and rebound. These controls let you shape support and comfort to match surface conditions, tyre choice and riding pace, without relying on internal revalving for routine tuning.
Before You Install
- Confirm compatibility with your exact BMW F 900 GS Adventure variant before installation.
- Plan to set rider sag after fitting, especially if you ride with luggage or a passenger.
- Have the kit installed by a qualified technician to ensure correct assembly, oil level and alignment.
Serviceability/Lifecycle

This TracTive product has been assembled with the utmost care and tested according to ISO9001:2015 Quality system. In the unlikely event that the product does not fulfill your expectations because of faulty materials or manufacturing errors, please contact us through your dealer.
Teknik Motorsport Pty Ltd warrants that if, within 24 months of the date of sale the product is found to be defective as a result of manufacturing errors or faulty components, the product will be repaired free of charge by us, or by a TracTive approved repairer at our discretion.
Warranty covers the direct service material cost, service labour cost ($80/hr AUD) and shipping costs of the service partner. Other costs will be regarded on a case by case basis by Teknik Motorsport and TracTive.
 When a claim is made under the warranty, the following conditions have to be met:
- You must have read the instructions carefully before mounting the product in the vehicle or adjusting the product.
- The product has to be installed and adjusted as described in the instructions
- The product must have been maintained and serviced in accordance with the recommendations in the manual. If not described in the manual, the recommended service intervals for regular street use: every 30.000 km or max 2 years, whichever is earlier.
- Warranty shall apply only when TracTive original parts, procedures and tools have been used to service and/or repair, and if service and repair is performed by designated TracTive partners.
- The product may not have been neglected, improperly used, altered or subjected to excessive loads. Excluded from warranty are normal wear, damage and rust.
- A sales receipt or other proof of purchase originally eminating from Teknik Motorsport Pty Ltd. No warranty will be given on TracTive or Touratech products not purchased from or through Teknik Motorsport pty ltd.
- Excluded from warranty are in particular products which are used in vehicles that are intended or suitable for taking part in sporting events, or have actually been used this way.
- Recommended service interval for Motorsport applications: every season, or every 50 hours, every 10.000km or after any perceived loss in performance.
