M12x1.25 check valve for Showa shock absorbers.
Separates compression from rebound.
Normally, the oil passes through the rebound adjuster during compression; the check valve forces the oil to pass through the shims during compression. It does NOT affect the shock absorber's rebound. Installing the check valve expands the range of use for specialties that require a more supportive shock absorber.
For Motocross and Enduro, it is recommended only for professional or very experienced riders with aggressive riding. Recommended for Supermotard and Supercross.
NB: The check valve is supplied without a hole specifically so that it can be drilled according to your needs. The narrower the hole, the stiffer the shock absorber. (See recommended drilling patterns).
