I installed a set of these Teknik Comp pistons in my Husqvarna 2010 TXC250 KYB donor fork which I run on my Beta 2023 RR300. I prefer a slightly firmer fork setting, despite really only riding Sydney sandstone tech/hard enduro terrain. In this respect, the stock valving on the Cross-country-focussed TXC fork suits me pretty well. I do run 0.6mm MV float & removed 2 x face shims off the Comp stack for initial plushness. The fork was still a little too firm in the mid-stroke on big square edges. With these pistons fitted, the fork is definitely smoother with less deflection on bigger hits & plusher all the way through the stroke - irrespective of shim stacks. Could the fork be improved? Yes, but this is easily the best $66 I’ve ever spent on a bike.
