These alloy free pistons are a fully redesigned replacement for the OEM plastic free pistons used in 48 mm KYB AOSS/SSS forks from 2006 onward. Constructed from rigid alloy, they eliminate cracking issues and improve durability under demanding use.

We’ve enhanced the design with built-in air-bleed channels to automatically purge trapped air from the top of the cartridge. A top O-ring improves piston alignment inside the cylinder, reducing binding and enhancing smoothness. The new design also removes the third chamber found in stock set-ups, giving a more progressive and controlled feel on initial travel.

These pistons deliver better fork response, smoother damping, and a longer service life compared to the stock plastic versions.
