Shock design & features

This is an oil/gas separated, gas-pressurised rear mono shock. The design supports consistent damping characteristics and helps reduce fade during harder, longer rides. Ohlins valving is developed to provide usable grip and clear rider feedback rather than an overly stiff feel.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external rebound damping adjustment and compression damping adjustment, allowing you to balance support and comfort for your road surface and riding style. It also includes threaded spring preload adjustment to set ride height and sag appropriately for rider weight and luggage.

Base setup (factory preset)

Ohlins supplies a baseline setting intended as a safe starting point for street use. From there, small changes to preload, rebound, and compression can be used to tune stability, compliance, and traction without losing the shock’s intended balance.
