The Ohlins DU788 TTX RT rear shock is a direct-fit replacement unit for selected Ducati models. Built around Ohlins’ twin-tube damping architecture, it is designed to deliver consistent control across a wide range of riding conditions. This unit uses a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated design to help maintain damping stability during sustained use.

TTX technology is developed from competition suspension where repeatable damping behaviour and clear chassis feedback matter. The DU788 is intended to support confident setup work without introducing harshness or vague responses. It is a practical upgrade path for riders who want more control from the rear of the bike.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping. Independent circuits allow you to balance support, traction and stability to match tyres, riding pace and surface conditions.

Base setup (factory preset)

The DU788 is supplied with an Ohlins baseline setting intended to be a safe starting point. From there, small changes to rebound and compression can be used to fine-tune feel, grip and chassis attitude.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for your exact Ducati model and year before installation. After fitting, set sag and check clearances through full suspension travel to ensure the shock operates correctly in your linkage and swingarm range.

Serviceability/lifecycle

As an Ohlins serviceable unit, the DU788 is designed to be maintained with periodic oil and seal service. Regular servicing helps preserve damping performance and keeps adjustments working as intended over time.
