The Ohlins DU911 TTX RT rear shock is built for the Ducati 1198R, using race-developed damping architecture to deliver repeatable control and clear feedback. It is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas-separated design aimed at maintaining damping consistency under sustained load. Independent compression and rebound circuits allow you to tune grip, support and stability to suit your tyres and pace.

TTX technology is based around balanced damping behaviour to keep the chassis settled through rapid direction changes and heavy acceleration. The result is a shock that prioritises feel and consistency when you are pushing on track.

Who this shock is for

Suited to Ducati 1198R riders who ride quickly on track or fast road and want more adjustment range and damping control than a basic replacement shock. It is also appropriate if you are chasing improved rear tyre contact and predictable drive out of corners.

Shock design & features

This unit is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas-separated rear mono shock using Ohlins TTX RT architecture. The separation of oil and gas helps maintain damping stability during repeated high-load use and reduces the likelihood of fade.

Tuning controls

You can adjust rebound damping and compression damping independently, allowing more precise changes to how the rear end settles on corner entry and supports the bike on throttle. Spring preload adjustment is provided to set ride height and balance for rider weight and tyre choice.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for Ducati 1198R and check clearance around linkages, exhaust and bodywork.
Set sag and baseline damping after installation, then change one parameter at a time during testing.
Plan periodic servicing to keep performance consistent, especially with frequent track use.
