The Ohlins STX 46 Supersport rear shock for Suzuki GSX-R 600 is built for riders who want consistent damping control and clear chassis feedback. It uses a piston-based, oil and gas separated design to help maintain stable performance as conditions and pace change. Adjustment circuits are provided to tailor the feel to your tyres, geometry and riding style.

Developed from Ohlins racing programs, this unit focuses on controlled movement and predictable grip. The aim is repeatable behaviour under braking, turn-in and drive, rather than a one-size-fits-all feel.

Shock design & features

This is an STX 46 Supersport configuration with separated oil and gas. The architecture is designed to keep damping behaviour consistent and to provide a more controlled response over a wide range of inputs.

Tuning controls

External adjustments are provided for rebound damping and compression damping. Spring preload adjustment is also included to set sag correctly for rider weight and use.

Serviceability/lifecycle

As an Ohlins unit, it is fully serviceable and intended to be maintained with regular oil and seal service intervals appropriate to track or road use. Correct setup and periodic servicing help preserve damping consistency and component life.
