The Ohlins SU638 TTX RT rear shock is built for the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 and focuses on stable, repeatable damping control under hard track and fast road use. It uses a pressurised design to help maintain damping consistency as temperatures rise. This unit also provides separate compression and rebound adjustment so you can tune feel and grip to your tyres and conditions.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised rear mono shock to support consistent damping performance. The TTX RT architecture is aimed at delivering controlled wheel movement and reliable behaviour under acceleration and braking loads.

Tuning controls

Adjustments include rebound damping and compression damping, plus a length adjustment for fine changes to rear ride height and chassis balance.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for your exact GSX-R 1000 model/year and linkage arrangement before installation.
Set sag and baseline damping after fitting to match rider weight, tyres and intended use.
