The Ohlins SU647 rear shock is a purpose-built upgrade for the Suzuki GSX-R 750, designed for riders who want more consistent damping control and clearer chassis feedback. Built around a gas-pressurised monotube architecture, it helps maintain stable performance during sustained hard use. Independent damping circuits let you tune feel and balance without changing the core character of the bike.

Developed from Ohlins racing experience, this unit is aimed at delivering repeatable damping behaviour and predictable grip at the rear tyre. It is suited to track riding and fast road use where suspension consistency matters.

Before you install

This shock is supplied with an Ohlins spring fitted. After installation, set sag and confirm clearance through full suspension travel, then fine-tune damping to suit tyres, pace and track surface.

Serviceability/lifecycle

As a rebuildable performance shock, it can be serviced to restore damping performance as usage hours accumulate. Regular servicing is recommended if the bike sees frequent track time or harsh conditions.
