Teknik Fork Upgrade Kit – Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally

Developed specifically for the Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally, this Teknik fork upgrade kit is designed around the Rally’s KYB 43mm fork package, revised spring specification and intended off-road use.

Although the Rally receives firmer 6.2N/mm linear fork springs compared with the standard Tuareg, our testing found that Aprilia made relatively little change to the underlying damping behaviour. The result is an improvement over the standard model, but the forks can still lack support and control when the bike is pushed harder off-road. 

Rally-specific development

Rather than simply carrying over the standard Tuareg specification, we tested the Tuareg Rally separately and developed the kit around the Rally’s own fork and spring setup. The calibration is intended to retain the benefits of the Rally’s improved linear springs while addressing the damping characteristics identified during our ride and dyno testing.
