This cartridge upgrade kit is designed for 48 mm WP XPLOR forks where improved damping control is required without the cost or complexity of full fork insert replacement. It replaces the OEM internal valving with a dyno-developed and rider validated system that adds effective rebound and compression adjustment to both fork legs. The kit is supplied pre-assembled with our most commonly used clubman enduro setting, with additional shims and instructions to support further tuning.

Using our suspension dynamometers, we refined piston design, bleed control and pressure balance through multiple iterations before validating the system with test riders of varying skill levels. OEM vs Aftermarket Options

Compared with the OEM XPLOR configuration, this kit increases damping consistency and makes both forks "double adjustable" while retaining the original cartridge architecture. It provides an intermediate option between stock internals and full closed-cartridge insert systems, trading ultimate performance for lower cost, reduced installation complexity and easier ongoing service.

Upgrade Your Ride

For best results, correct fork spring rates should be confirmed and updated if required during installation. Proper setup and oil selection remain critical to achieving the intended performance characteristics of the kit.
