Teknik Motorsport Pty Ltd Warranty terms for TracTive products.

This TracTive product has been assembled with the utmost care and tested according to ISO9001:2015 Quality system. In the unlikely event that the product does not fulfill your expectations because of faulty materials or manufacturing errors, please contact us through your dealer.

Teknik Motorsport Pty Ltd warrants that if, within 24 months of the date of sale the product is found to be defective as a result of manufacturing errors or faulty components, the product will be repaired free of charge by us, or by a TracTive approved repairer at our discretion.

Warranty covers the direct service material cost, service labour cost ($80/hr AUD) and shipping costs of the service partner. Other costs will be regarded on a case by case basis by Teknik Motorsport and TracTive.

 When a claim is made under the warranty, the following conditions have to be met:

• You must have read the instructions carefully before mounting the product in the vehicle or adjusting the product.
• The product has to be installed and adjusted as described in the instructions
• The product must have been maintained and serviced in accordance with the recommendations in the manual. If not described in the manual, the recommended service intervals for regular street use: every 30.000 km or max 2 years, whichever is earlier.
• Warranty shall apply only when TracTive original parts, procedures and tools have been used to service and/or repair, and if service and repair is performed by designated TracTive partners.
• The product may not have been neglected, improperly used, altered or subjected to excessive loads. Excluded from warranty are normal wear, damage and rust.
• A sales receipt or other proof of purchase originally eminating from Teknik Motorsport Pty Ltd. No warranty will be given on TracTive or Touratech products not purchased from or through Teknik Motorsport pty ltd.
• Excluded from warranty are in particular products which are used in vehicles that are intended or suitable for taking part in sporting events, or have actually been used this way.
• Recommended service interval for Motorsport applications: every season, or every 50 hours, every 10.000km or after any perceived loss in performance.

• These cartridges fit right into the fork legs without modifications to the fork.
• The cartridges are closed, meaning that the cartridge is like a separate, pressurised shock absorber inside the fork with its own damping oil for optimal handling.
• The products were originally developed in close cooperation with adventure riders, world travelers and rally riders.
• The products have proven their value over the years: hugely improved off-road handling while retaining comfort during long travels.
• This is certainly also due to the huge size of piston used: 35 mm diameter.
• This size of piston is the largest of all aftermarket suspension providers.
• Apart from a high oil flow, this piston size allows for a stable, well-controlled damping behaviour.
• The size of the internal bore also allows to use electronic adjustments.
• Later on the cartridges have been further developed for use in road racing.
• Again the cartridge design has proven to be stable and finely adjustable.
• Every cartridge can be easily opened and serviced.
• Or the damping can be tuned for the customer's application.
• Spring rate, spring preload and air chamber are easily modified, there is for every product a range of springs available pending on loading and application.
• Every cover cap contains a dearation screw to remove an excess of foam and air.The damping can be easily adjusted with 18 clicks using the cover caps on the top of the fork legs.
• The adjustments are separate, meaning that the left fork leg is used for compression damping adjustment, and the right fork leg contains the rebound damping adjustment.
• In both legs the preload can be adjusted over 12 mm.At the end of the stroke there is an hydraulic end stop.
• This helps with preventing hard bottoming during large impacts..
