Featuring a big CNC machined aluminum shock body and extra-long external reservoir, the X-TREME shock absorber holds significantly more oil than standard shocks. This ensures the shock absorber stays cooler, maintaining optimal damping performance throughout your ride.


Inside, a big 46mm high-flow piston offers superior damping performance compared to the small piston found in the OEM Yamaha shock.


The shock absorber is equipped with a so-called PDSII system against bottoming out. It effectively is a cushion that absorbs the high ingoing energy and prevents hard bottoming of the shock absorber. In short: PDSII soaks up the hardest hits before they ever reach you or your bike.


The shock also comes with extensive adjustment options to help you find the perfect setup for your riding style. Fine-tune your compression with the high and low speed compression adjusters and easily dial in your rebound settings with the rebound adjuster at the bottom of the shock.


With the easily accessible hydraulic preload adjuster, you can quickly dial in extra spring preload when carrying a passenger or heavy luggage, and just as effortlessly return to your solo setup with a few turns.
