The Ohlins YA569 STX 46 Street rear shock is designed to improve chassis control and feedback for the Yamaha MT-09 (FZ-09) in everyday road riding. Built around Ohlins street-focused STX architecture, it delivers controlled damping with a clear connection to tyre grip. It is a single rear mono shock intended to replace the standard unit.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated shock design intended to keep damping consistent during extended riding. The STX 46 Street layout is built for precise damping control and clear feedback through the chassis.

Tuning controls

The YA569 provides external rebound damping adjustment and compression damping adjustment, allowing you to tailor the response for your load, tyres and road conditions. These adjustments are intended to help balance comfort, support and grip without internal revalving.
