Tuning controls

Adjustability includes rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to fine-tune ride feel and control to suit road surfaces, tyre choice and loading. Spring preload adjustment is provided to set sag correctly for rider weight and luggage/passenger changes.

Before you install

  • Set rider sag before making damping changes, then adjust rebound and compression one change at a time.
  • Confirm clearances around the reservoir/gas-pressurised body layout and ensure correct torque on all fasteners.
  • After initial rides, re-check sag and fasteners to confirm everything has bedded in correctly.
