The Tractive X-CITE shock for the KTM 690 DUKE uses a closed, pressurised design to help keep damping consistent over long rides. This unit is built around a sealed architecture intended to better manage oil control under heat and repeated movement. It is a rebound-adjustable configuration.

Design & features

  • Closed, pressurised shock design to support consistent damping behaviour
  • Oil/gas separation via an internal separation piston
  • Supplied as a complete rear shock assembly (with spring fitted)

Tuning Controls

  • Rebound damping adjustment

Base Setup (factory preset)

This shock is supplied with a baseline internal setup from Tractive. Final ride quality will depend on rider weight, load and intended use, and may require adjustment and/or spring rate matching where applicable.

Before You Install

  • Confirm fitment for your KTM 690 DUKE and model year before installation
  • Check clearance around the shock body and any adjacent components during suspension travel
  • Installation should be completed by a qualified technician using correct torque procedures

Serviceability/Lifecycle

As a sealed, pressurised unit with internal oil/gas separation, this shock is designed to be maintained through periodic servicing to keep performance consistent as oil and seals wear. Service intervals will vary with usage and conditions.
