The Tractive X-TREME shock for the AJP PR7 uses a closed, pressurised damping system that keeps the oil and gas separated for consistent behaviour over long, rough rides. Its architecture is built around a sealed cartridge-style damper with an external reservoir for improved control under heat and repeated impacts. This version includes a ride height adjustment feature as part of the shock body.

Design & features

  • Closed, pressurised damper design with separated oil and gas to reduce foaming and maintain consistent damping.
  • External reservoir configuration to help manage damping consistency during sustained use.
  • Designed specifically for fitment on the AJP PR7.

Tuning Controls

  • Triple adjustment: compression, rebound, and a secondary compression circuit for broader tuning range.
  • Mechanical adjusters (non-electronic).

Who is this for?

  • Riders who want a wide tuning window for mixed terrain use where conditions vary from loose to high-speed and loaded travel.
  • Owners who prefer a pressurised, oil/gas-separated shock design for consistent feel over longer rides.

Before You Install

  • Confirm fitment for your AJP PR7 and plan a baseline setup after installation.
  • If you intend to use ride height adjustment, make changes methodically and re-check chassis balance after each change.

Is It Right For You?

  • Choose this shock if you want maximum external adjustability and a pressurised, reservoir-based design for repeatable performance.
  • If you prefer a simpler setup with fewer controls to manage, a less adjustable configuration may suit you better.
