Our stage 2 DR650 upgrade kit is for those looking to do some serious riding. We upgrade the fork springs to suit your rider weight plus re-valve the fork (including the addition of our V4S emulator valve) and include a new Tractive rear shock. The rebound-adjustable Tractive shock offers higher performance over our stage 1 kit and features a 46mm body and 16mm shaft.

You can either drop your forks off at our shop (or mail them to us) or bring your bike in and we will do all the hard work.

  • 25-050-07 V4S Emulator Valve
  • Modifications to the Fork Damper Rods
  • Fork Re-Valve
  • 19-110 Fork Springs (rate tailored to your weight and riding conditions)
  • Tractive Rear Shock (tailored to your weight and riding conditions)

Not Included:

  • Consumables (Seals / Bushes / Bumpers / etc)

Depending on age and condition some consumables must be replaced. We don't charge any additional labour to replace consumables.

With the aid of our suspension dynos we have completely re-developed the V4S valve (from our 2008 design) to make the DR650 damper rod forks the best they can be. The graph below shows some of the results of the extensive testing we have done. We have added more compression damping throughout the entire range - taking out the wallowing feel commonly complained about in the stock suspension. More rebound damping is also added across the board.
