Teknik HFV-28C Fork Compression Valve Kit 28mm for Yamaha WR 250/450 2006-2011

The Teknik HFV-28C Kit is a fork compression valve upgrade designed specifically for Yamaha WR 250 and WR 450 models from 2006 to 2011. This kit replaces the restrictive OEM poppet-style compression base valve found in the 28mm cartridge forks, delivering improved damping control and smoother fork action. By eliminating fork fade and harsh bottoming, the HFV-28C enhances suspension consistency and rider comfort during long off-road rides.

Key Features

Hydraulic Flow Valve (HFV) design provides stable and predictable damping performance
Reduces harsh bottoming typical of 28mm cartridge forks on Yamaha WR models
Preserves plush small-bump sensitivity while offering stronger mid-stroke support
Includes shims and setup options to tailor damping to rider weight and terrain conditions

Installation Notes

This kit installs in the front fork compression base valve position, replacing the OEM component. It is compatible with Yamaha WR250F and WR450F models from 2006 to 2011. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct setup and optimal suspension performance.
