The Ohlins DU969 is a rear TTX RT mono shock developed for Ducati Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak and Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak models. It uses the TTX twin-tube architecture to deliver stable damping behaviour and clear feedback across a wide range of road and sport riding conditions. This unit is built to support controlled chassis movement under braking, cornering and acceleration without relying on vague “one setting fits all”.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised shock with oil and gas separated to support consistent damping and reduce fade during extended use. The TTX layout separates damping functions across twin tubes to improve control and repeatability, especially when the rear suspension is working hard over changing loads.

Tuning controls

The DU969 provides external damping adjustment for both compression and rebound, allowing you to balance support and comfort while tailoring grip and chassis attitude. These adjustments are independent, making it easier to refine behaviour without compromising the other side of the damping curve.
