Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised rear mono shock that separates oil and gas to reduce aeration and help maintain damping consistency. The STX architecture is intended to deliver controlled wheel movement and improved traction by keeping damping response stable over repeated hard use.

Tuning controls

Provides external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to balance support, grip and ride comfort for tyre choice, pace and surface conditions. Spring preload adjustment is also used to set sag correctly around the supplied spring.

Before you install

  • Confirm fitment for Ducati 851 and 888 and check clearance around linkage and exhaust.
  • Set rider sag and static sag using preload before fine-tuning damping.
  • Inspect bearings, linkage and mounting hardware condition so the shock can work as intended.
