Shock design & features

This is a rear mono shock with a gas-separated design to help maintain damping consistency during extended, demanding rides. The construction is aimed at durability and repeatable performance, particularly when the bike is ridden over rougher surfaces or when overall load increases.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to influence how the bike recovers after bumps and how firmly it resists movement under load. Preload is also adjustable to set ride height and support for rider weight, luggage or a pillion.

Base setup (factory preset)

The shock is supplied with an Ohlins base setting intended as a reliable starting point. From there, small changes to preload and damping can be used to balance comfort, support and traction for your typical roads and touring loads.
