The Ohlins STX 46 Adventure rear shock for the Kawasaki KLX 300R is built for riders who need predictable suspension control across mixed terrain. Designed to maintain composure over rough tracks and uneven surfaces, it helps the bike stay settled and reduces rider workload on longer rides. This unit is intended as a complete replacement rear shock.

Shock design & features

This is an oil and gas separated shock design to help maintain consistent damping over long, rough sections. The construction is intended to cope with harsh off-road environments and sustained use.

Tuning controls

External damping adjustment is provided for both rebound and compression, allowing quick changes without disassembly. A preload adjuster is also included to set ride height and support when conditions or loading change.

Set sag and preload after installation, then fine-tune rebound and compression to suit terrain
